
Bio
Born and raised in Henderson, North Carolina, Tim Moss is a dedicated and skilled trial lawyer with a passion for advocating for people facing life-altering challenges. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where his background in storytelling helped shape his approach to advocacy. He later earned his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida.
Since joining Erskine & Blackburn in 2010, Tim has become an integral part of the firm and was named a partner in 2019. His practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, 18-wheeler crashes and other commercial vehicle collisions, traumatic brain injuries, workplace injuries, dog attacks, premises liability, and complex litigation. As lead counsel, Tim has successfully handled high-stakes cases and used his trial experience to pursue favorable outcomes for his clients. He is known for his strategic approach and client-focused advocacy.
Tim is married to Kinski, a native of El Paso, Texas. Together, they are raising their three daughters, Harper, Piper, and Isla. Outside the courtroom, Tim is an avid supporter of UNC athletics and Longhorn football. He also coaches youth sports, enjoys traveling, and loves cooking and barbecue. The Moss family is deeply involved in their community, volunteering and supporting their daughters’ schools, and worshiping and serving at St. Theresa Catholic Church.
